What’s been happening:

53 years in a nutshell: Lived in Southern Pines, NC, New York City for a summer, Greensburg, PA until I moved to California two years after Jim and I were divorced. We remained friends until he died in 1999. Life has been a great ride! Great jobs (sometimes I was one of the only women in the position, CA Senate staffer; and now a researcher); great loves and losses; great friends who saw me through a lot of it. I have been truly blessed and have lived what I think has been a charmed life. But it has been seriously de-populated in recent years by the losses of many family members and friends. Really miss having someone close. Have slowed down a bit due to muscle and nerve damage from a prescription drug...so am not turning cartwheels as I did 10 years ago, just walk ... slower, and not as far. Still think I will write some of the books I have outlined when there is any spare time. Would love to hear from old friends and acquaintances.
